[HEBREWS] 13 

[A]How to Please God

    如何使神喜悦

01/Keep on loving 繼續相愛  one another 互相地

<as brothers如同弟兄>.

02/Remember要記得 to welcome接待 strangers 陌生人

<in your homes在你的家裡>.

There were 曾有 some一些人

{who他們 did that做過那樣 and welcomed 並且接待了

angels天使 without knowing it 沒有先知悉}.

03/Remember those要記得那些人
{who are他們 是 in prison坐牢},

<as though好像/如同>

you were你們是 in prison坐牢 with them和他們.

Remember those要記得那些人
{who are他們是 suffering 正在患難中},

<as though好像/如同>

you were你們是 suffering 正在患難中

<as they are如同他們是>.

04/Marriage婚姻 is to be honored 應受尊重<by all被人人>,

and 而且 husbands and wives夫妻 must be faithful 必須信實

<to each other互相地>

God will judge 神將審判  those 那些人

{who are他們是 immoral不道德的}

and those 以及那些人
{who他們 commit adultery犯了淫亂}.

05/Keep your lives要使你們的生命

 free from離開 the love of money 金錢的愛慕,

and並且 be satisfied with要满足於

what you have你所有的.

For因為 , God has said神己經說過,

"I will never leave我將永不離開 you你 ;

I will never abandon我將永不放棄 you你."

06/Let us be 讓我們 是bold大胆的, 

then and say然後說,

"The Lord is my helper主是我的幫助.

I will not be afraid 我將不是懼怕的.

What什麽 can anyone do能够任何人做 to me對我 ?"

07/Remember 要記得  your former leaders你們先前的領導者,

{who spoke他們 說過 God's messages 神的信息 to you給你們 }.

Think back on要回想 how 如何 they lived and died 他們生死,

and imitate並要效法 their faith他們的信仰.

08/JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME
YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.

09/Do not let all kinds of strange teachings
lead you from the right way.

It is good  to receive inner strength
from God's grace,
and not by obeying rules about foods;
those {who obey these rules}
have not been helped by them.

10/The priests
{who serve in the Jewish place of worship}
 have no right to eat any of sacrifice on our altar.

11/The Jewish High Priest  brings
the blood of the animal into the Most Holy Place
to offer it as a sacrifice for sins;
but the bodies of animals are burnt
outside the camp.

12/FOR THIS REASON,
JESUS ALSO DIED OUTSIDE THE CITY
TO PURIFY THE PEOPLE
FROM THEIR SINS
WITH HIS OWN BLOOD.

13/Let us, then, go to him outside the camp
and share his shame.

14/For there is no permanent city 
for us here on earth;
we are looking for the city 
which is to come.

15/Let us, then, always offer praise to God
as our sacrifice through Jesus,
which is the offering presented by lips
that confess him as Lord.

16/Do not forget to do good and to help one another,
because these are the sacrifices
that please God.

17/Obey your leaders and follow their orders.

They watch over your souls without resting,

since they must give to God an account of their service.

If you obey them,

they will do their work gladly;

if not, they will do it with sadness,

and that would be of no help to you.

18/Keep playing for us.

We are sure we have a clear conscience,

because we want to do the right thing

at all times.

19/And I beg you even more earnestly to pray

that God will send me back to you soon.

20/God has raised <from death>our Lord Jesus,

{who is the Great Shepherd of the sheep

<as the result of his blood,

{by which the eternal covenant is sealed.

[B] Closing Prayer

21/May the God of peace provide you

every good thing {you need}

<in order to do his will>,

and may he be,<throuh Jesus Christ>do in us

what pleases him.

And to Christ be the glory

forever and ever!

Amen.

[C]Final Words

22/I beg you, my brothers and sisters,

to listen patiently to his message (of encouragement);

for this letter {I have written to you}

is not very long.

23/I want you to know

 that our brother Timothy has been let out of prison.

If he comes soon enough,

I will have him with me

<when I see you>.

24/Give our greetings to all God's people.

The brothers and sisters (from Italy)send you

their meetings.

25/May God's grace be with you all.
